Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, that the Page County Board of Zoning Appeals shall hold public hearings on November 21, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., in the Board of Supervisors Room, located in the County Government Center, 2nd Floor, 103 South Court Street, Luray, VA, to consider the following variance requests being presented by:
Joseph & Whitney Campbell, who own property located at 1206 Hollow Run Road, Luray, VA, identified by tax map #63-A-314A. The front yard setback requirement for this parcel is 50 feet. The applicant is requesting that the 50 foot required front setback be granted a variance to a 10 foot front setback to allow for a 10x16 porch (already partially constructed). The density range in this area is medium.
Bethlehem Lutheran Church, who own property located at 160 Red Church Road, Luray, VA, identified by tax map #44-A-38. The applicant is proposing to install a well. The required setback is 50 feet. The applicant is requesting a variance to a 10 foot setback. The density range in this area is light.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hear comments from any concerned citizens on the above listed date and time.
Copies of the requests and the Page County Zoning Ordinance may be inspected at the Planning & Community Development Office, 103 South Court Street, Suite B, Luray, VA, 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
