Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, that the Page County Board of Zoning Appeals shall hold a public hearing, at 10:00 a.m., on January 21, 2020, in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, located in the County Government Center, 103 South Court Street, 2nd Floor, Luray, VA, to receive public comments and to consider the following request:
Reginald D. Judd, Jr. has filed a variance application for property located at 4232 Egypt Bend Road, Luray, VA, and further identified by tax map #49-A-55. The property contains 0.55 of an acre and is zoned a Woodland-Conservation (W-C). Pursuant to § 125-9.F of the Page County Zoning Ordinance, the required front setback is 50 feet. The applicant is requesting that a variance be granted to allow a 30 foot front setback for a 6x8 front porch addition onto the existing dwelling.
