Zoning Ordinance Amendments
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, that the Page County Board of Supervisors shall hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m., on June 5, 2018, in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, located at the County Government Center, 103 South Court Street, 2nd Floor, Luray, VA, to receive public comments and to consider the following amendments:
Amendment to § 125-10 (Agriculture) by allowing farmers markets, greenhouse, retail sales, breweries, and wineries be permitted by-right rather than by special use permit. (Draft Amendment)
Amendments to § 125-63 (Violations and penalties), add § 125-63.1 (Enforcement), add § 125-63.2 (Civil Penalties), add § 125-63.3 (Criminal Penalties), add § 125-63.4 (Injunctive Relief and Other Remedies), and delete § 125-49.C (Notice of Violations). Note: hearing impaired individuals who need an interpreter must notify the office at least seven (7) days prior to the hearing.
2018-2019 Through 2023-2024 Six-Year Improvement Plan
The Virginia Department of Transportation and the Board of Supervisors of Page County, in accordance with Section 33.1-70.01 of the Code of Virginia, will conduct a joint public hearing at Page County Government Center, at 7:00 p.m., on June 19, 2018. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comment on the proposed Secondary Six-Year Plan for Fiscal Years 2018-2019 through 2023-2024 in Page County, and on the proposed Secondary System Construction Budget for Fiscal Year 2018-2019. Copies of the proposed plan and budget may be reviewed at the Office of the Residency Administrator, located at 3536 North Valley Pike, Harrisonburg, VA or at the Page County Administrator's Office, located at 103 S. Court Street, Luray, VA.
All projects in the Secondary Six-Year Plan that are eligible for federal funds will be included in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), which documents how Virginia will obligate federal transportation funds.
