Temporary Office Closure Due to COVID-19

In an effort to update the community during the COVID-19 outbreak and after receiving continuous updates from the Commonwealth of Virginia, this office will remain closed to the public until further notice.  Our office will remain available to the public by telephone, email, mail, online services and the drive thru located at the Treasurer’s office on the lower level of the County Office building. Also, the drop box is conveniently located past the drive thru and is available 24 hours.

  • Maintain detailed records for state collected accounts
  • Bank account reconciliation


  • Collection of personal property, real estate, and vehicle license taxes
  • Collection of all other County generated revenue such as business license fees, estimated tax payments, dog tag fees, emergency medical service fees, landfill fees, building and zoning fees, and stormwater fees
  • Bill and collect all public service utility fees
